COACHING STAFF - 12U
Brieanna Owens is entering her junior year of undergrad at Langston University. Joining us from Nashville, TN, Coach Bri played her collegiate volleyball at Langston university, as a MB/OH for her freshman and sophomore year. Prior to Langston, Coach Bri began playing volleyball during her her freshman year of high school at Goodpasture Christian School, where they went to the state tournament every year and won the state title during her senior season. In addition, she received multiple accolades during her time there: best blocker award, 2X all-district 2x, and an all-region award.
Coach Bri decided to take a step away from playing and is a currently Biology major, aspiring to be an OB/GYN.
Poliana West is playing her freshman year of collegiate volleyball, as the Langston University dedicated setter. Prior to joining the Lions, Coach Po graduated from Classen SAS High School in Oklahoma City, where she was a member of the varsity team since her freshman year. Her leadership qualities led to her appointment as a team captain beginning in her sophomore year.
Outside Coach Po’s accomplishments on the court, she is also is pursuing her academic dream at Langston. Driven by a strong passion to provide compassionate care to the community, she is working towards becoming an OBGYN nurse.
